SpaceX Falcon 9 - CRS-17 Coming May 3rd

A SpaceX Dragon cargo spacecraft is scheduled to launch at 3:59 a.m. EDT on May 1st, on a Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.

This will be SpaceX’s 17th Commercial Resupply Services contract mission to the International Space Station for NASA.

The mission has been procured by the DoD Space Test Program in partnership with Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) as part of its Rapid Agile Launch Initiative. The satellites on board the mission will represent Rocket Lab’s heaviest launch to date, with the total payload weighing in at more than 180 kg.
